'History will repeat itself,
But people can't go back in time.'
~
Reminiscing History is an initiative founded by Ar. Parnavi Bangar. Through it, I digitally recreate broken and forgotten monuments by bringing them back to life through detailed illustrations, research, and stories.
It’s my way of remembering, reimagining, and reviving places that time has left behind.
While doing this, I also work on projects that support local communities by documenting heritage, celebrating regional architecture, and helping preserve the cultural value of these sites.

Hi, I'm Ar. Parnavi Bangar.
I'm an architecture graduate with a background in conservation, passionate about India's architectural heritage.
Reminiscing History began after my first visit to Hampi, where I started illustrating forgotten monuments and published my first research paper.
Since then, I've shared my work through exhibitions, a TEDx talk at MIT Pune, and ongoing posts on social media to raise awareness about our built past.
The vision is to bring awareness to our architectural heritage through projects like digital recreations, books, exhibitions, workshops, merchandise, documentation, and conservation.
The aim is not only to shed light on forgotten monuments, but also to change how people see heritage tourism by sharing creative work based on proper research and real evidence.
Even a single little helping hand takes us a mile forward.
